Has anyone used one of these? Price point is great, but KV rating on motor is low. No adjustable timing on the endbell. How reliable are they?

These are aimed more towards users who want to install and forget about the system. Thus there may be fewer adjustment options when compared to higher priced systems, if you prefer a high kv then we can suggest you to buy a lower turn combo.

I had a 21.5 system, but never got the program card and I wasn't able to make any changes. The motor does not have adjustable timing, so it isn't great for club racing. As a general play or bashing system it works fine. Just wish I had received the program card with mine.

there are some club races that allow yuo adjust timing via the esc/program card but they are few, i have also seen a lot of complaints about these combos ( specifically the motors) when running 3s lipos. i have one of the 8.5t 4000kv units coming for my T4 which will hopefully be here monday. i am a little less hopeful now than i was a couple nights ago when i started reading and watching user comments and vids.

I have the 13.5 T for over a year and it seems flawless.
