Default Lost Quadcopter

I was flying a tiny quadcopter, and it flew straight into a tree. It's so small I can't see it, and the battery died a while ago. I'm not even sure it's still up there, but I don't see it on the ground. Any ideas how to find it? (Metal detector, etc.) Can't be expensive, needs to be practical.

For that you just need to repeatedly push the throttle to listen to the sound of props spinning nearby.

If you can't find it, suck it up and buy a new one.
There's nothing you can get that's going to find it for you.

Wait for a big storm and lots of wind.

My Syma was stuck in a tree for six months. After it finally fell, I let it dry for a few days and it still worked.

They're not always in the tree you think they're in. I was sure this one was in the big fir tree. turned out it wasn't. another quad with a camera might let you look around in the tree and maybe locate it. Good luck...

I guess I'll just have to wait, keep poking around. Thanks anyway.
