Default EPP Planes

Been out of the RC Flying scene for a while. Is EPP still a easily repaired material or is there something new the base has migrated to? Interested in seeing what tech has changed in the past year.

Yeah EPP still around. The material very spongy, very high impact material and can be easily repaired with any glue. Mostly EPP is an ideal material for planky 3D plane (profile plane), combat wing/slope soarer delta wing and other park size and indoor flying fixed wing. TECHONE brand always build more EPP based planes. I have bunch of it and really fun to fly EPP based plane. Here are some video of my fun flying on EPP plane:

Oh btw (EPP material) they do make a good FPV flying platform due durability and flexibility like the one i built here in this video:

glue needs to be foam safe , do not use regular CA.
I student the other day that came over with a wingtip on his flyzon calypso , that was damaged frm a ground loop .
tip had been bent , I used my heat gun and carefully heated up the tip and got it looking pretty good and back to the normal rigidity .
