Might as well go a tiny bit bigger and put a seat in it. LOL That thing is huge. I'd go with the larger of the two just for more power. You can never have too much power.

I'm interested in the band equipment in the back ground. What's with all of that? Looks to be a well set up practice area? I play guitar. Mostly light to heavy rock.

Hi Greg, i was thinkin along those lines as the da170 is actually about a pound lighter than the 150. A da 200 is a really nice engine, smooth smooth smooth being a 4 cylinder vs a twin for the others but unless i could find the mag case 200 the 4 cylinder is about 4 1/2 lbs heavier.
I have been using 3w 150's in my other planes in the 40% range but wanna try somthing different this time.
Yep that is a practice area in the back ground ( used to be a recording studio in the area the plane is) in but moved that gear to another location when i ran out of airplane room in the house, shop and hangar!!
I play drums in a couple bands and thats our practice area.
Just recently got back into rc cars and are putting together a couple speedpassion lm1 cars now. Its nice to be able to work on them on the dining room table and not have to go elsewere to work on them!

Heres the main electronics of the plane. Smart fly eq10, jr 921 dsmx reciever, 2 3700ma lipos for all the hi voltage servos, servos are all Savox brushless 2270sg that have 444oz torque and .12 speed @ 7.4 volts. The smart fly also keeps 2 5.1 constant voltage inputs to the reciever and the full 7.4 to the servos. Easy system to use when you have multiple servos on ea channel plus the eq10 has built in matchboxes for all channels

That ist pic shows 2 rudder servos plugged in, 2 elevator servos plugged in along with failsafe switch and ignition cut off plugged in. Just 4 ailerons and 1 throttle servo and wiring will be complete.
