Both my boys (6 & 9) have a couple of the Blade MCx2's at Christmas, both are still working fine. We flew them yesterday... Very durable, a little more than the one you posted, but much better quality. You can read the reviews at amazon or at Horizon Hobby.

Also there is a flight section on the forum, lots of info about the mini helis.

I agree with Saladfork (that is a strange sentence to type)...
the Blade helis are VERY durable.

I have a 8500 square foot warehouse that is full of cars...obviously a very safe place to fly helicopters ...and myself and a couple of guys here have amassed a small squadron of MCX2's and CX2's (the bigger ones) and have flown/crashed them in every way you can think of. We even had a MCX2 clip the 30 ft tall roof and get hung up on a beam at about 28 ft. We decided the best way to get it down was to attach a cardboard tube "ram" to the landing gear and knock it down pinanta style. Needless to say it worked perfectly...kind of...but the good news is both survived the 28 ft freefall without breaking anything on the MCX2 and only the $9.00 landing skid didn't make it.

If we can't break them, they may in fact be unbreakable...

anything without a gyro is not cool for me ....

But if they do have one, it will surely rock !
