Default Mcpx/dx6i problems

Hey everyone, I've had my mcpx for about 2 weeks. I bought the rtf b/c thats all my lhs had at the time. The heli flies fine with the dx4e but today I tried to fly it with dx6i and it wouldn't lift off the ground. when at full throttle the motor sounds like its actually bogging down. The throttle was actually cutting out at about 50%. I set the radio programming to the settings in the mcpx manual.

One thing that I noticed when throttling up is that the prop wash is actually blowing up and theres a crazy amount of negative pitch in the blades at zero throttle.

I'm thinking I need to reverse with pitch servo setting in my radio. Any other ideas?
