Default Phoenix

The Phoenix is a good Sim in my opinion and the ability to play others online is a blast. Many free downloads also are available.

Default This is a pretty good one.

This is an awesome flight simulator! The level of realism is great! If you're looking for an alternative to Microsoft's flight sims, or one of the other big name brands, give this one a try.

This is discussed a lot on the heli forums. Popular consensus is that Real Flight has better physics for Planks & Phoenix has better physics for Helis.

Personally, I fly helis and use Phoenix, but I mess around with planes and find the physics just fine. I chose Phoenix because it has free updates and you can tweak the models and the physics to your liking, and can import models and flying sites from others.

I like RealFlight Basic. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of RealFlight G5 (like being able to fly combat with people over the internet) but it works well on my basic system and is super realistic. Cheaper, too!

I myself love Phoenix RC. I have learned a lot from it and use it often to practice certain tricks or autorotation landings etc. Phoenix is especially good if you are flying helis.

There is a new real flight out not that long ago. Real flight G6. I hear good things about it but have never used it so can't give you my experience with it.

I am going to try it soon i think, looks nice.
Phoenix does the trick for me so i can recommend it.

Do know that when using real flight you have to connect your own transmitter ( if you want to use it ) throught the transmitter that is supplied in the box. I hate that system.
Phoenix just works with a radio plug in the back of your transmitter, directly from the USB cable that comes with it (which has the adapter on it to make sure you actually bought the game ).

So for me it's phoenix but Realflight might also be an option.

Good luck.

I like and have Phoenix. I use my DX7 with mine, but you can use just about any spektrum TX with it. You also get free updates with phoenix.

I started the hobby self-tought from scratch using Realflight G4.
RF is easier to fly than the real thing, but its close enough to be a good teacher.
Its saved me thousands and I still use it often.
