Default Need your advice on a 'Red Arrows' RC plane

I do not know anything about RC planes. I'm just helping a friend of mine look for a Red Arrows RC plane that her brother want.

We found 2 links:

http://bananahobby.com/1149.html

http://www.nitroplanes.com/4chredar3dae.html

Seems like there are minute differences in terms of the specs. Can anyone suggest a cheap and entry level Red Arrows RC plane for 1st timer? Thanks.

Jeff

yeah she bought one. but it was for his brother. i looked at the plane in the box and it was ok. wasn't able to get the chance to run it though. it looks to be a decent plane.

Well im glad to hear that because i got the other one (amax) last year and it was way under powered. Went up real slow and under full throttle, bairly stayed up and came down real fast in a screaming heap. If im lucky i might be able to rebuild the front but thats a rainy day project now, smashed everything from the leading edge forward. Just wouldnt want someone else to make the same mistake!!
