Default Drones need a long flight time to complete missions

The next logical path for UAV is their use in industries ranging from agricultural surveillance to pipeline inspections, facility and incident safety, emergency response and disaster relief. But like any tool, having a working drone is the best way to get the job done, and in many cases, it can't just be powered by batteries. As you know, a simple battery lasts less than 30 minutes, limiting the drone's performance. Now or in the future, drones require longer flight times to complete their missions. There is also high reliability and the ability to carry heavy loads, including stable camera zooming and day/night capabilities.

While conceptually not completely unlike moored balloons used in World War I, tethered drones, like MMC’s Cirrutitan launched earlier this month, can uniquely deliver the performance, flexibility and cost effectiveness required by commercial customers today.
