FPV Trans and receiver setup

I am looking for a transmitter antenna and a receiver antenna to mount on a night Radian and fpv googles? I need to reach out approximately 1 to 2 miles with direct view of the plane itself. Being the distance I need to fly up t I need to reach out approximately 1 to 2 miles with direct view of the plane itself. Being the distance I need to fly to, I want to use fpv instead of attempting to fly the plane that far in open view. Inexpensive is the key word! Thanks in advance.

Any 5.8ghz video transmitter and receiver combo with at least 600mw can easily reach your required range without mods. This video transmitter (without receiver) only cost USD$10. But overall combo even with basic simple 'box' fpv goggle would cost you under $50 together.
However the other issue is i'm not sure if your radio controller could achieved such range.

I could easily achieved max 15km range with old cheap 5.8ghz 200mw FPV video transmitter with helical antenna on video receiver side. You can read my documented setup on my FPV plane here: https://www.supermotoxl.com/projects...ght-950mm.html The schematics of FPV also included in the mid page.
