Default Aquacraft Mini Wildcat Brushless Help

So I picked up a Aquacraft Mini Wildcat in a trade recently and I was running it for the first time and everything was fine until it suddenly stopped. Once it stopped I hit the throttle and the boat didn't move, then a couple seconds later after not touching anything on the remote it would jump forward. At this time I could still steer normal and it still reverses fine but it won't go forward, any help?

Are both sets of batteries full charged, you could reverse motor leads and see if it still does it.
