Default Need help with Miss Geico 24.

Hi, everybody.

My Miss Geico 24 was very slow since I have bought it.
Boat runs 100 meters per minute what means about 5.57 fts/second or 3.75 miles/hour.
Fully charged battery still gives me 8V.
May be brushed motor DYNM3840 15T is (and since it was new) out of order.
Anyway, I asked for advice how to make this boat faster (spending less money).
In my opinion, I should change motor for brushless system (with control as well).
(I have new 2000 mAh 7.4V LiPo batteries hope it will be useful in new system).
Could anyone please give me an advice: what equipment I have to use with no problems to mount on boat. I mean same size of motorholder and collet on drive shaft.
Thank you in advance.

I think you should upgrade to brushless system and higher mah lipo, or even for a 3s lipo. Motor mount and collet should be ok. Start from there and if your not satisfied, also upgrade the prop and the rudder system. Most of upgrades should be online. Good luck

Definitely upgrade to to brushless. Look at getting higher batteries. If you still want it to be faster then change the prop.

the boat should be faster than that even in stock form . try connecting battery leafs directly to motor , in effect full throttle .

brushless is a great option just cost you some coin to do the upgrade
