Default tunnel hull for 3.5 and 7.5

Need some advise from you pros. What would be a good tunnel hull for racing in the 3.5 and 7.5 outboard class? Thanx for your help

Pro? Well, maybe experienced.
The AquaCraft VS-1 is a very competitive hull for a ARTR. For a wood kit, there's this one, http://mlboatworksrc.com/index.php?m...c482a2df6ccc71 .
Unfortunately there aren't many 7.5 OB tunnel boats around any more as it's a dying class. It seems to be the .21's, Gas and FE's left.

www.intlwaters.com , probably the best place for nitro boats and especially OB tunnels. When MECOA bought out K&B they really didn't put a whole lot of work or interest in the outboards. They were the only ones mass-marketing the .45's, .67's and up to a 1 inch limited engine. Others have had to use aftermarket lower units and adapt engines to them or pretty much scratch-build theirs. Now the .45's and bigger aren't run much anymore, the IMPBA Internat's (which BTW is running this week in Madison, IN), the OB Tunnel Championships and the Indy Masters race in Hobart, IN are the few places that you'll see them run anymore. Hobart runs a stock .21 OB tunnel class and Open for everything else over the .21's.
