Getting back into boating

A couple years ago I had a shockwave 55 gas boat but since I'm paralyzed and live in a nursing home I was unable to keep my boat where I live because of the size and more so the smell of gas. Also, I didn't get to drive it very often so I sold it. Now I'm missing having a boat so I bought another one. This time I bought a nitro and it's only 37 inches long so I'll be able to keep it in my room. I considered an electric boat but since I don't get to run very often I don't want a bunch of batteries I'll have to worry about cycling so they don't go bad. I bought an AC models wave slave. It has a 7 port go .21 engine that supposedly only has 6 tanks of fuel through it. It looks like a quality built boat but I do not like the paint job, it looks like a taxi! A friend of mine is supposed to paint it for me, hopefully he won't take too long! I'll Post pictures later of the new paint job.

I seen the boat on ebay, nice, though its designed for a .45 engine, I am sure the 21 will scoot it around fine, maybe a x440 or x442 prop

Sorry to hear that guy. I think it will be awesome. A great conversation starter.

My friend was finally able to take my boat and get the paint job done... It looks so much better! Now I have to wait for my other friend to come over and put it back together so we can go run it soon. I bought a grim racer 40x53x2 prop to start with hopefully it will work well! I had a few people recommend that prop. Anyways, let me know what you think of the new paint job.

Looken good!

That's a good prop to use for a .21 . It's already fairly sharp, well-balanced and polished right out of the package. It's an AC Model Boats hull, they're strong and do very well in rough water.

Thank you all very much! I'm anxious to get it in the water but it's still going to be a while. Can't wait to mount the go pro on it for some cool on board videos!
