Default Shockwave 26 with 1800kv?

Looking to upgrade a little at a time. Thinking of starting by going from the Dynamite 1500kv to the Dynamite 1800kv. Going to mate it to the stock Dynamite 45amp 3s esc, a 3s 6400mah, and the x640 balanced prop.

Good start? Should that give me a little more speed without issue of overheating anything?

On a side note, the 3s 20c 6400mah battery I have allows about 28mph. I bought a 3s 20c 2100mah battery just to see what the weight difference would make and I'm getting 21mph. What happened? Could it be from the 3s 20c 2100mah only allowing 42amp draw? Did I imagine the 28mph last year?

I don't think changing that little of kv will be a notice changer. Try a few different props. Those are more 4s motors.

Looking to move to 4s, just a little at a time. I was thinking another ~3k in rpm would help, just wanted to make sure it would be compatible.

I was running a higher motor around 2300 I think, I was getting mid 30s on 3s.
