Default Cheap easy to get pushrods.

Go to your local pushbike shop and get some stainless steel spokes. They are great for pushrods and cost peanuts compared to piano wire. There are a few different gauges available as well.
They even have a 90 degree bend on one end with a stopper and a thread on the other end for a clevis if needed.
They are around 60c each.

noticed ya over on OSE the other night, anyway just thought i would chime in on this one. yes i have used a spoke before on a rudder servo for a sailboat, found it on the ground, at the time the linkage they provided was too big for the keeper nut.
now it is written in my boat build memoirs.
i use to not chat here because seemed a lil' slow (for boats).
seems mostly for car/truck racing but this is where i find my info for those builds.
OSE is where i find all my needs for staying afloat.
those guys and a few gals know their wakes and now i have an arsenal of
buoyant weapons.
wetter.

If your up for a chat about RC boats, check out facebook page "RC Water World" There are more than 800 people on there talking RC boats in general.
It's my daily fix for RC boats.

It's a good site on Facebook for RC boaters of all kinds although right now it seems to lean more towards nitro and gas boats. There doesn't seem to be much of a presence of FE boaters right now but you're still welcome to get in. The site has been growing like crazy with over 800 embers in just around 2 weeks. Yeah, I'm there a lot. There's an amazing amount of what I'd call experts in the hobby there offering lots of help. I had a problem there and still had members giving me replies after I already had the issue fixed but to me possibly helped out others too in case they run into the same situation.

I like to find things that aren't normally thought of as being able to be used on my boats. You'd be surprised at what you can find in a grocery store alone to do something with.

Giday Ron. Yeah, I've seen you on there a few times. unfortunately most of the info will be lost down the track. It's not like forums where everything is easy to find and kept indefinitely. I still like chatting on there though.

Not really but you have to go back through the history to try to find something. The downside is that though as there is no search or anything placed by powerplant, hull type or anything else that you can do on a forum site. Places like Facebook or Twitter should never be able to replace that.
