Finally got the new boat in the water, it wanted to die in the first corner just like the last boat, I thought my luck had continued from last year, we worked with it and finally changed to a different prop and then things changed. I was told it was the first time had had a smile on my face in a long time, a few small bugs to work out but it was a good day on the hole.

Getting ansty to hit the water myself. I spent a little time out in the trailer today starting to clean it out and bring it back into the driveway then start loading up the toys into it. A new 10 x 10 canopy as my other one got kinda trashed in a nasty storm last September at the Hobart race.

Coming up on 30 this July with the present Mrs. Olson. She said that she won't divorce me, she'd rather make me suffer! Now that's cruel.......

All I can say, is that I am very happy with this new boat, very fun to be able to go to the pond and run and be able to get water time instead of wrench time, working on it right now to make sure everything is good yet.

New year, new cat, coming soon. I'm not building this one, I have someone else doing it, he does some great work.

Always loved gas boats! Nothing beats a high revving motor with the tuned pipe
