boat not moving

Default boat not moving

hey guys i have a px-16 NQD storm engine boat it was working fine and now when i pull on the trigger on the remote nothing happens battery is fully charged i did notice when i get really close to it (antenia touching antena) it works as i back away it stops i checked soldering connections and fix as needed problem still there please help

It might be a bad crystal in the receiver or RX damage if it got wet.

I picked one of these for the kids. Sometimes it does this also when you pull full throttle but if you only pull it partway it works.

It doesn't work for me I can only get it to work when I touch the antenia to it that's it I'm going to check the crystal

Good question they were the ones that came with it all the LEDs are light but I will check

i checked the batteries and put new ones in still same problem

electronics could be shot, radio could be bad, lose antenna connection in the radio? I remember when I was young I would have problems like that with my toy cars with the metal antennas. You would have to touch it just to work.

nothing is shorted the controller cant be bad it works and checked the antenna and its fine
