Default Horrid grinding noise!

Hi guys
I'm hoping you can help as I've been googling all day and it can only get me so far!

A few weeks ago I bought an Offshore Warrior 2 from Joysway. It's a great little boat with a brushless motor and 2.4ghz receiver. It cost quite a bit but a very nice little runner in any case. I've only had it for a few weeks and must have only been out a handful of times. I've the last few days the motor has been making one hell of a grinding noise on throttle. A normal motor should whizz, this sounds course and grinding. I've uploaded a video here of the noise. Excuse the table cloth! Does anyone have any idea of what this is or how to fix it? Thank you!

The flex shaft should be greased after each day using it. Use marine grease, does the noise happen with the flex out. Try a little 3 in 1 oil on the bears/ bushings of motor.

I pulled it out and then span her up again, same noise. I don't have my marine grease with me so I'll have to try it in a couple of days. Thanks for your help so far. Any other ideas? Do you think it's terminal?

I had a motor that sounded like that, the rotor ended up being junk.

That's nasty! Narrow it down by disconnecting the motor from the driveline. If it's the motor then it could be the bushing or bearings.
In a pinch for the driveline, try any lubricant for now as something is better than nothing at this point. That's for testing only.

Something to check. Is it hard to pull over? If the clearance between the coil and the fly wheel is too small you could be rubbing up against the coil.

Sound like motor bearings are bad.
