Default Kyosho Fairwind restoration

I've been asked to restore a very old and dirty but intact sailboat. Work would be a routine clean-up and buffing but the sails (both jib and main) have crumbled and are torn due to age. They are no longer available.

The owner has no intention of playing/running this Fairwind ever again. It'll be displayed in his clinic as a memento and conversation piece.

What material can I substitute that wouldn't involve any sewing but will still look nice? Any suggestions?

Depending on what size sails, horizon has some if you search.
