Default mini rio problem
I just got a brand new Mini Rio and followed instructions to the letter but can't get to fire up. No motor or stearing. Batteries check out to 8v plus and I am getting continuity through the male side of the plug that goes to the motor. The radio lights up with brand new Duracells. I hate to have to pay return shipping. Any sugestions welcome.

Are the connections ok. Does the steering servo do anything?

everything checks out ok. no servo movement
