Below are some pics of my first (and only) RC boat, the Aquacraft UL-1. It hasn't seen water yet and probably wont for another month or so here in Colorado.

Looks awsome! Good work.

So I am looking to get back into the RC boating big time and was wondering where is a good place (Web site, etc...) to buy boats/motors/etc..? There was an excellent dealer local to me but has since closed up shop (Like 4 or 5 years ago now) so there is nothing really local anymore and Tower Hobbies doesnt seem to have the boating selection they once did.

I will have to dig up some pics of my 2 boats sitting collecting dust one of these days when I make it to my moms.

Thanks Colby, it's a 1970's hull with a picco engine.

I have had it since new and i like it to, for the nostalgia.

Cheers, Brett.

Gotta love the tunnels!

I had one back in 1980, it was an F1 with a K&B 3.5 with a pipe made in a shed locally. Boy did that boat rock, wish i had it now.

Cheers, Brett.

Default Madam-X

Here is my Ebay find 200 shipped .... Never ran with CMB 65 .... I need to put the rudder back on and get it ready for water..... I bought it on ebay the seller said the engine was locked up from sitting with fuel in it.... Turns out it had never been fired up and had sat for about 2 decades with the piston at the top of its pinch.... ABC Cylinder.... I took it out grabbed the flywheel and it spun right over.... Gotta love it when things go that good !!!!!!!
