Default Waterproofing Advice for RC Boats, FPV

Ive had a lot of success using Corrosion X, epoxy, and floral adhesive to seal my electronics on my RC boats.

I want to waterproof my fpv camera and tx but they appear prone to failer due to the more complex electronics. I understand conformal coating would do the trick. But what about using UV curing glue such as Bondic? Or would corrosion x work just as well?

I run a lot FPV equipment in heavy rain and flood, usually for camera i would wrap the case with condom rubber bag or baloon leaving just lens and wire to protrude out through hole coated with grease. For vtx i used small plastic box sealed around with gel like grease.

flex seal works great as a substitute for conformal coating. If you are going to go with conformal coating make sure you buy it from cowrc.com The stuff they have is the exact stuff Holmes Hobbies uses to waterproof all of there products. Its literally the best conformal coating you can buy because its industrial strength. All the others you can buy will actually deteriorate after about 3-4 years of use. This stuff once its on its on forever. It's all i will ever use on expensive hardware like my water converted castle xlx esc's and stupid expensive futaba recievers(for examples).
