About to fiberglass my Graupner...

Default About to fiberglass my Graupner...

About to fiberglass the bottom hull...its the only way I see to save it because it's so brittle (old ABS). I've put in the time to learn how to do it properly but I'm hesitant. I feel like I could use some last minute advice so if you have any...

Fiberglass can be brittle..it is not that sturdy

used fiberglass many times from boat hull repair to small scale stuff .I have never seen a fiberglass be brittle even in freezing weather !

Use 3oz - 5oz cloth or carbon fiber with West Systems 105 epoxy, 206 hardener. Make sure to sand/ scuff area real good where you are laying cloth
