Default New to RC boats, considering the titan for purchase

I would like to know from those of you with experience should I pack a swimsuit and dingy if I plan on using this in a lake or pond or whatever? It sounds like this thing handles well but you never know what can happen out there. any feedback would be great.

I used a fishing pole with a tennis ball 30lb cat gut and 2 debarbed hook no point either to retrieve it at 1st many years b4 my fetch boat hand made I now used my quadcopter with sold swivel hook out of piano wire..
never a lost a sea boat. but hand a quad just go out to Canada on a runaway. failsafe failed...
