Default Radiolink RC4GS only for ESC ?

Hi,does anybody know if this radio works only with electric motors? Because there is no battery connection on the receiver, only throttle, steering and aux 1 & 2. throttle, steering (rudder) and aux 1&2.
There should be a way,i guess but which?

Just plug in the battery to channel 3 or 4. Ran a few nitro cars with the older version of this radio like that.

If you plan to use the Gyro, then be sure not to plug anything into the respective channel that the Gyro is configured when active, I think Ch3 is default... I blew out a port on one of my Rx's when I tried using an external fan while shared on the same port. The Rx still worked for Ch1-2 and Ch4, but Ch3 was dead... I was able to switch the Gyro to work on Ch4 and powered my fan off a Y-harness from Ch2.

If you want to play it safe, then you can disable the Gyro completely... or use a Y-harness to supply power into Ch1 or Ch2 if you wish to continue using the Gyro.
