Futaba telemetry question

So I just got the Futaba 4pv and I was expecting the telemetry system to work, but from what I can tell, I only get the battery voltage. To get the rest of it to work you have to buy something else that goes into the sbus slot and then get a bunch of connectors, or do I plug the esc into that slot?? Does anyone have any experience with this? I can't seem to find any info about how to get it working.

You can normally run 1 telemetry module without needing the sbus hub.. On My brother's he has the electric temp sensor module plugged in to his receiver and taped to his motor to monitor temps mid-run. Unless he decides to run another telemetry module the hub isn't needed. The module's are sold separately.

Voltage is included from the receiver itself, but only tells you what voltage your receiver is getting from your ESC which is typically 6.0 or 7.4 volts in high voltage modes.

Are you guys going to race tonight? I might check out your stuff to see how it's set up

Nah Erik work's every Wednesday.. so it's rare for us to be there racing.

I might be able to swing by and help you out on it though, do you have any of the telemetry modules?

Is the one you'd need..

I do not. I can take a look Sunday, I was just curious how it all worked.

Basically, it has a plug the same as a servo does and plugs into the sbus port.. if you have multiple sensors you need the hub that basically turns that single sbus port into several.

Once it's all plugged in, as long as your radio is on the right screen it should just show up.
