Squeal when braking

I have a tlr 8ight-e 4.0 with a muchmore fleta m8-zx8 combo and a tlr eight t-e 3.0 with a hobbywing xr8 plus -G2 4274 combo. Both of my motors have developed the same problem. They are noisy when braking. They squeal and sound like a car with worn out brake pads. I searched the internet and i couldn't find any information on this. There are no signs of anything being wrong, just a high pitched whine when brake is applied. What could be the cause for this?

Post up a video of it. Could be dozens of things.

I'll have to agree with Jay here. Sounds normal.

When the you apply the brakes the motor tries to come to a complete stop. The weight of the car continues to move forward forcing the rotor in to motor to keep turning against the current applied.

If you able to. Change the brake percentage.

Completely normal noise - don't need to change anything other than probably cleaning the polished floor of the tire marks that are there after your little spin :)

You don't need to change brake percentage - if you change the braking percentage till you get no noise you're getting no brakes!

Some esc's cause this noise. I actually miss it. Gives me an audio queue of how much brakes I had. When I switched out my Tekin esc I lost this

So it's normal then. I'm sure it wasn't there before. I must have changed the brake frequency and forgotten about it. Thanks for your replies

Completely normal sound there.
