Was a much better deal with all the discounts and extra receiver to buy it from RCMart via Ebay. But with the shipping charge now. . .that pretty much wipes out the original cost savings.
Yeah that is basically what I priced out. I mean I know waiting for the ultimate ebay coupons is great, heck I got a brand new xray xt2 2018 at the time for $100 off because of it, but lots of others had the same idea on other items I wanted lol.

I ended up going with the radio. brand new with 1 receiver and a 2100mah protek lipo for basically 529 shipped. excited to try it.

Right now as I run electric classes the receivers for now will all be R204GF-Es until I can score some R304SB-E receivers unless the latency isn't that much. That one with the mini antenna could be an option too.

Big thing is looking for better feel versus Futaba 3PV.

Futaba is running a promotion if you didn't see it. Hopefully you can still take advantage of it: https://futabausa.com/promotions/r304sb-promotion/

Considering picking up some of the new SR R334SBS-E Receivers or the R304SB-E receivers for the coming 7PX. Assuming a non-Futaba SBUS2 servo, would one perform better than the other speedwise still?

the non futaba servos will perform as expected, but will not work in SR mode.

Sorry should clarify, what i mean is will one receiver with these limitations i mentioned be faster response time than the other. Kind of like how the R304SBE is faster than the R204GFE from what I recall.

i gotcha.. the response rate is dependent on the receiver. i dont know which is faster of the 2 receivers listed. i believe the 334 is the best one at the moment. however, not able to put it into SR mode, because of a servo.. maybe the 334 and the 304 have the same response rate.

Default Receiver comparison

Hey guys. A little help. I’m running Reedy Servo’s in my TC. Looking for a difference with the receivers. R334SBS-E, R304SB-E R614ff-E. Will I notice a drop off in servo speed?

Does anyone know what app to use for updates? I saw where you can update these through nfc, but can't figure out which app. Thanks

i dont think the app is ready yet. the radio and your phone will react to each other when you put them together.. but nothing happens yet.

Does anyone know how to actually get the radio to log to a memory card? I have one installed but it's not creating a folder with the logging data. One model uses a Futaba GPS sensor, the other has a Castle mamba X with the Sbus telemetry link, both show up fine on the radio screen.

tower also has these for $599.99 and I think you can use discount coupons too, even member level ones.

Does anyone know when or where to find one of the limited editions? I feel like I've been searching for the past few months and still haven't seen them anywhere, have they even been released yet or did I already miss my opportunity to find one?
