Waiting for mine to ship. I’m pretty excited about getting this transmitter. Can’t wait to try Futaba.

I wonder if they will come out with a 7PX-R, not sure how much more they can top the 7PX.

Can a lipo be used with this radio or only life?

Lipos are not listed as an option in the manual. However, if you decide to go renegade and try it (which I’m not recommending), let us know how it goes.

Has anyone made the jump from a M12 to the 7PX? If so how do you like it?

I just left the M12s for the 7px. Mine will be here next Saturday. I can’t wait! The reason I left the M12s is because I thought the Futaba was much more comfortable to hold than the M12s. I’ll be more than happy to report back once I get the radio and have been able to use it.

I love the 3D trigger on the KO Propo. Really wish Futaba would do something similar, but I'm sure there's some copyright / patent issue to contend with.

As far as the 7PX goes, I think it's overkill for racers. We need, at most, 3 channels. Now, for scalers, crawlers, etc...., that need to control a bunch of discreet functions, or mix multiple channels together, this might be awesome.

For the rest of us, the 4PX is still more than enough.

Heck, I've still got my 10 year old 4PK....it's the radio I keep in the house for using on VRC Pro. :D

The KO 3D trigger is simply awesome. Your correct as KO has it fully protected via design and utility patents.

7PX is a better piece and more improved version of the 4PX. The software is much the same with more features the 4PX. More receivers can be used than the 4PX. But if you programmed the 4PX you will know to configure the 7PX.

I have both the 7PX,4PX and the M12s. I am wierd. I just have not sold my M12s. I really like the Futaba platform.

Which feels more comfortable/responsive?

I have 4px-r i really like it and yesterday in my local track i drove yokomo 4wd buggy with M12S radio i feel like more connected to the car so i order M12S today.

I haven't gotten my 7px yet but I am switching from the m12 to it as well.

I drove a friends truck with one and it had a nice feel.

Everything seems a little more user friendly on the Futaba radio is the main reason I switched.

Hi there quick questions , how does it compare to the m12s I have both the m12 and 4px but mainly use the m12 but I do find the 4px more comfortable , what I don’t like from the 4px is the throttle and steering they feel weird maybe the potentiometers or the springs they use but something doesn’t feel quit right with it they should have put the throuttle and steering components of the 4pkr( to me they’re the best) , I’ve seen many pros that actually left futaba becuase of those issues, pros like , Carson wernimount , jorn Neumann, Robert battle, hupo hognl, takki Shimo, Dominic greiner, Reno savoya, ty tessmann( was not sponsor by Futuba but did ran the 4px at the 1/10 world championships in 2015 but went back to his m12 mid race ) so have those issues of the 4px been addressed on the 7px or are they still present ?

is there a drop down adapter and angle adapter available for the 7px? Will the one from the 4PKRS work?
