Graupner X-8E model switch not binding all the time
I noticed it last week at a club race, and this past weekend at TCS race locally, that when I switch models, the radio doesn't always bind with the new models' receiver. I have to do a rebind to verify connection, which while it is easy enough, is just kind of a pain in the butt when you're running two classes back to back, or are in a hurry to get to the line. Since there are a couple of different routes you can take to switch models, I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed this, and if so, what your solution was.
I haven't had a chance to actually sit down with a couple of my models, and try to simulate the "non-binding" situation to see if it only happens when certain routines are followed, and not when a different routine is used. I will try to recreate these issues on the bench, and hopefully come up with a solution. Any feedback on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Interesting. I never thought of that, but I will give it a shot. I usually have my models right next to the radio when I turn them on, so that could definitely be part of the issue. Thanks sbd
