Lipo batteries

Hey guys what would the minimum MAH I would need to run in open 2wd SC? A lot of the shorty/brick packs I see are 4200-4600 mah. Are theses good enough to run a 8 min main. I'm running a AE Sc5m with a 8.5/7.5. I've always ran 5000 + mah in the past. Thank you for your input.

4500mah or bigger should get you 8 minutes plus practice laps.

After you run an 8 minute race, how many Mah do you put back into the pack to fully recharge? I'd bet it's not more than 25-2800ish at the most. Set your LVC on your ESC to no higher than 3.0v/cell so you don't tickle it on the last lap and most shorty packs will make it easily.
