There shouldn't be any issues using other servos so long as they don't exceed the voltage limit of the receiver and the ESC has a decent BEC

About performance and speed, which servos do you recommend?
But if you really want high end stuff then Highest servos are great. And you can't go wrong with the premium Hitec and Futaba servos. |

Well I'm not much of a speed freak as far as my servos go. I think the fastest one I own is a .08 second response. I mostly aim for a good amount of torque and metal gears. And currently my favorite all-around servos are the xpert 4000 and 3000 series. It's got a great blend of torque and speed and can be used in any rc application. Plus the price on them is pretty hard to beat without going for an off brand servo.

I believe whenever a company is concentrated only on servos but no more in other things, should always have best compatibility and performance with RX and TX of other brands. Not sure if you understand what i am saying. Thanks! |

No issues using the r1wurks servos. I run them in my 2wd buggies and love them. Very well.

How about if i choose Hitec servos, then which model of them would choose for TC?
I prefer 9360th to be brushless. But i saw their team driver use 8775mg coreless. Could somebody tell what advantage exist between of them? Best regards |

The advantage of the brushless servo would be better efficiency as well as a higher speed and far more torque. But the low profile servo you have there is plenty of torque for a TC and its speed isn't too bad either. Plus the low profile servo is nearly 25 grams lighter which I'm sure would benefit a TC.
Thanks! |
