Zeppin Voice Lap system
 

I bought this system last week from RC Mushroom. Wasn't available in the States. I first saw it about a year ago.

I ordered 3 more transponders today. Probably be 3 weeks till I get them. And probably be snow on ground by then.

i want to ask, whether the sound mode can be configured?

It's been few months since I've been able to use system. Weather is supposed to be good this weekend. Planning to use it. I'll have to look into the voice part. Honestly can't remember. I believe there was a serperate wi-fi module needed for the voice part.

Have you tested this with off-road ebuggies at all?

Thinking of getting this system for my 1/8 e-buggy. Will the height be an issue?

The stand is adjustable for height. I've only tried touring cars. But see no reason it wouldn't work with a buggy. Just needs to pass close enuff for it to read transponder. Here's link to site

Zeppin Racing Voice Lap System

A couple of us setup the 1/18 track at hobby store. Figured good time to use system. Course layout was small for 1/10 but work. Couple times it picked up transponder twice during lap. Just need to reposition where I had receiver.

Tried it with the brushless Dromida touring car. Gives me a baseline for this spot. Plan to try few other cars here.
