KO PROPO EX-RR
Trying to get updates and pricing on this radio
|
EX-RR
Rcjaz had it listed at $549. No release day yet. Here is the link about the new HSC system. https://www.kopropo.co.jp/en/specials/view/21.
The RR is not using std 1.5 ms neutral width in HSC mode. only narrow pulse compatible servos such as new ko HSC series servo and Sanwa ssr narrow pulse servo and few others are compatible. |

Seems the RR is still using std 1.5 ms neutral width. I don't understand how the servo can start to move in 1ms as ko claimed. Anybody has insight. |
ko propo ex-rr
http://www.rcmodelreviews.com/what_is_latency.shtml.
So far this one has most details about rc radio latency. I also read it on rctech that Sanwa's latency excludes servo latency. (The above article say the biggest latency is servo latency. it can be up 50ms.) So KO could be using narrow pluse width like sanwa and improved the decoding speed of the receiver and the servo plus dual receivers to) to improve 1ms on servo latency. KO web site says ex1 and ex2 can utilize HCS becasue it is the high speed communication between receiver and servo. In another word, the TX can process the signal fast enough. but the receiver and the servo was too slow.. (The dual receiver and increased resolution of the pots ... is very important for consistency of our driving.... lap after lap). Very excited to get one and see how precise and fast it can be. |
i have a .06 speed servo and the 413fh rx with the ex-1. seems as fast as i could begin to even tell.
i would try the HCS but i cant even fit that foot print in my XB2, definitely could in my XB8 and XB4, but I prefer to have all the same rx's and setups for consistency. |
So will this be better than my 4PKRS?
Ill have to keep a eye on this page. |

the sanwa is already "better". this only works if you have all KO servos and what not as well so be careful don't just buy for the heck of it unless you got cash to blow.
ANd not i will not be running the ko servos. Thanx for making this easy for me. |
Kinda always felt you were at the mercy of your servo. Keeping latency at single digits speeds and buying the fastest servo you can afford works for me. The ergonomics and feel in your hand are the most important to me. Like to keep my latency at around 5 or less. Interesting how these Radio companies don't reveal in numbers what thier latency is.
