Default Steering pulling to the right

Hi. I am having a problem with my MT-44. it seems to have an issue with centering that happens randomly. I first felt this when I was racing in 1/28 track and my car sometimes will pull to the right coming out of the corner.
I notice this issue again when I was playing in VRC PRO.
When I caught the remote glitching, A tap on the bottom of the remote will make the centering correct again. Truly puzzled right now.

This is not a receiver problem right?

This directly relates to radio you say you tap on bottom and if self corrects .. (dirty pot?)

OK this needs to be said....The Sanwa MT-44 Manual is a complete piece of crap. I've been in the RC hobby since the mid-80's. Crappy manuals were the norm back then. It's been 35 years. Why are the manuals still dog shit? This is completely unacceptable.
I feel bad for the new guys just starting out. Get your act together Sanwa. You're a friggin embarrassment to the hobby!

I've just ordered myself one of these transmitters. What are the issues with the manual? Is it just a case of bad chinglish? I always consider any instructions to be a bible.

Yeah, it's just bad chinglish. It can be frustrating, however if you have any transmitter experience at all it's not that bad. Just like most things, familiarity and practice helps. In all honesty, it's worth the minor struggles since the transmitter is so darn good!

Where can the best price for one of these be found right now? Been debating this vs the M12, but like the weight of the MT-44. Coming from a Futaba 3PV.

Thanks mate. I'm sure I'll manage and get a good laugh from the chinglish along the way.
Stepping up from a flysky, can't wait to get the mt44 in my hands

Hey some questions from a newb here:
1) I've got a Spektrum S2640 servo - Do I select NOR or SHR mode?
2) Before binding the RX, does the battery on car need to be fully charged?

thanks!

you want SHR and it needs a charge but not necessary to be fully charged
