Default MT-44 recommand

Hi guys. I am using m12 since long time ago . I know there are the best choice is M17 or m12s. But I concern how good mt44 is. Is it faster than m12????
I definitly know mt44 is slower than m12s(company say)
If mt44 is faster than m12, I would buy this time(much lighter)
please give your idea
Thanks

Default Lipo mod with outboard charge plug

Lipo from eBay 13 bucks! . Solder 2 plugs across the battery one goes to power the radio, other goes out the rubber plug outside the radio. No removing the battery to charge. You can see the plug on the pic of radio. No issue while charging either because the power to radio will be shutoff as the battery charges. Checked it all works

Ok, so I finally pulled the trigger & received my radio yesterday. Got the transmitter all set up with the 18650 battery. However, I can't for the life of me get any of my other electronics plugged into the receiver. All the servo plugs are slightly too wide. Do I need to replace all the plugs or something to smaller sanwa plugs? I feel I would have read this somewhere if so?!

Edit: nevermind. Got it. They're just a REALLY tight fit in there!

Congrats on the radio! Hell yeah, they are ridiculously tight! I do hate that. I think Sanwa has some new blue plugs that perhaps will fit better. However, I've never tried it so I'm not sure.

Yep they are a realllllllyyyyyyyyy tight fit. I had to shave my plugs just so I can remove them later if I need to without inadvertently removing the rx from the chassis

The blue plugs are standard Sanwa. I wish the radio/servo makers would standardise the plugs.

Yeah, I dunno. Even the rubber plugs they give you to keep dirt out of any unused slots are a super tight fit!

I currently use KO Propo EX-II transmitter with their KR-413 recievers and many KR-211. A hard core racer friend also uses an EX-II and has had great success in Stock TC and Mod TC. However, he used a fellow friends M12s and went 3 tenths quicker. He said he felt more connected to the car and that steering and throttle was more precise as compared to the KO system he currently uses. He stated he will be making the switch to Sanwa M12s very soon.

My question is: I do not have the funds for a M12s, so is the speed, precision, and connectivity just as good with the MT44? I know they moth use FH4. Will I benefit from also switching to Sanwa from KO?

Anyone know where to get a pdf file of the owners mnaual? Also, any good resources that go into more detail / explication on the radios functions?
Thanks!

So, I managed to get the radio set up with no problems. Ran a few packs through today and really liked the feel of it. Put a new pack in my car and dropped it on the track only for the car to be unresponsive. The ESC is indicating no radio connection, and the LED on the receiver is out. Tried to re-bind but no luck. Couple of other Sanwa guys at the track helped out. I was able to bind my receiver to their radios, but my radio wont bind to anything. Looks like I'm going to try a firmware update and hope for the best...

Update: Hmm. Updating from version 1.13 to 1.18, & rebinding managed to get it to bind on the second attempt. Seems to work, but somehow doesn't feel ''right."

As far as speed/latency, they are the same.
