Yea I saw that too. Whats the work around so you can charge without having to take the battery out of the radio and still not use alkalines

I couldn't tell ya, I haven't tried any lithium options. I've been fine with the Eneloop batteries

How do you guys secure your receivers? I was out bashing at a bmx track and landed on all 4 and lost power to my servos but tbe receiver light was still on so I figured my battery hit the LVC. I get home and the battery still had plenty of voltage. I open the receiver box and the top half of the receiver had un-snapped from the bottom piece which may have exposed the pcb to some muddy water. Is it possible for the receiver to still light up but also be ruined from the water?

I secure my receivers and ESC's with the same double sided tape. Never had one come off or get loose. I'm a newb so plenty of crashes involved.

Sure it's possible for the light to come on but also for there to be problems. You'll just have to try it to find out if it's still working and go from there.

When you opened it up, Was there water in the receiver box and on the components inside of it?

There was a little moisture at the bottom of the casing but not on the pcb.

Give it plenty of time to dry out. Then, give it a look over and if all looks good give it a try.

Ok. So, i ordered up and installed a 18650 battery and it doesn't buzz anymore... The AAA's were at 4.1 volts and the Li-Ion was 3.9 volts. It was a pleasant surprise.

Receiver works fine. Will have to go out tomorrow to see if there's any glitches or anything.

Move your trigger to desired position. If it's the brake curve then push the trigger.

What holder are you using for the 18650? I haven’t felt confident about which one to use so I haven’t pulled the trigger on this project yet.

I use this. I have a "guide" on how I did it here.

Oh wait. You're the same guy as before lol. Just pull the trigger already. It's not hard to grind stuff off.
