I did, some smaller (cheaper) things. Never had a problem. However, people mention this shop regularly, so I believe it is OK.

I'm patiently waiting for a reseller to announce their price, and a Mate and I will be ordering one each. Full run down when it happens & they arrive

that is the mrp (manufacturer recommended price), somehow for every new japanese product, people start discussing the MRP price, this is not the price it is being sold for!

japanese stores sell this (november 2016) for 280 euro/300 dollar with an rx482 included

I just sold my M11X and I'm indesisive as of what radio to get. Was looking at the MT4S because I can't see myself paying a ton for the 12S but this site is crazy cheaper then the usual online shops.

That is a very nice price. Do you know about any shop actually selling it already?

outside japan, i only know of banzaihobby and rcmart, but i can not vow for their products or service, maybe others can chip in?

EDIT: it is not released yet above sites are pre-order, going to be few more weeks i think?

Thanks for the links, that tells a lot about the price. I haven't been able to find them myself... In terms of availability, some of these shops say mid-november, which is OK.

BTW, I really believe that banzaihobby is in Japan. If I remember correctly, I always see their transactions in Yens, and the packages also seem to be sent from Japan...

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this radio, I'm planning to go all Sanwa -ie. get their Super Vortex Gen2 ESC and one of the servos too...

It depends if you respect your Budget and how much serious you are about your Hobby , I have both The MT-4S and the M12s and I like both of them
i really like the lightness of the MT-4S and the fact that you can use a good LI-FE pack or Li Po inside of if (They both support the same format of Batteries by the way) For the new Radio this will be a problem unless you can find a 1S pack that will fit inside the MT-44 without any issues .. Both of them came from Banzai Hobby (bought them on sale) I must say I am really happy to have chosen Sanwa .. And yes The M12S is a faster radio .. But the MT-4S is no slouch either .. One thing is for sure is that you will be an happy racer with either choices of radio that you make with sanwa just be wise and order a bundle that comes with more than one receiver and you will save more..
my M12S came with 2 x RX-482 and one bonus RX-472 and my MT4S came with 2 x RX-471 , after that i also bought a couple of Sanwa ESC's with integrated Receivers ..

I have the M11X, M12, & MT-4.

To be honest, I always preferred the M11X in the hand. But I'm now using my MT-4 exclusively and it feels better over a longer run.

So what's the best receiver to get as a package deal? Seems like a few options. I don't care about the telemetry. Keep it simple stupid like they say. Definitely I'll be getting the 12s.

the 471 an 472 have an antenna
the 481 and 482 are the newer models and have the antenna build in the little box

the 472 and 482 support sanwa ssl, so you can change the speed controller settings from the radio, if you don't have a sanwa esc get the 4X1 series.

i went from an mt-4 to the m12s and the difference is day and night, if you are sensitive to lag the m12s is so much better.
the shape and comfort of the m12s is also way better, the dropdown steering wheel is great, the wheel feels more precise, you can adjust the trigger`s angle and thickness to make braking more comfortable
it is an expensive radio, and especially in Europe prices are crazy, but it is worth it.

Amain says you can order this radio Dec. 23, so it looks like it won't be coming to the U.S. until after the new year.

I tried to purchase a MT-4s from the LHS. They told me is was discontinued and suggested the MT-44 which isn't available yet. I was okay with the price point of the MT-4s but the MT-44 is just enough more to make me consider the M12s or even another brand, although it is tough to beat the Sanwa feel and latency. I know the 4s is still available online but I want to support the LHS.

My main concern though is if the 482 receiver will fit in most radio boxes or will I need a different reciever?
