Castle Link for Android
Many Android devices can be a USB host. This means that you can connect Castle Link programming device directly to you Android. You just need an Android OTG cable like shown in this video
So, I'm developing an Android application to program Castle ESCs from Android. Its alpha version available now for download. It currently supports 90% of desktop's Castle Link functionality. You can try it out by following the link: play.google.com/apps/testing/synergy.android.esclink P.S. I'm a hobby enthuseast and I'm a professional programmer. However I'm not related to Castle Creations yet, and doing development independently. If you are from Castle, please send me a PM :) |

Sounds great! I will have to dig out my old Castle Link to test this!

How about an IOS version ?

^^ Agreed.. I don't even like Android after getting accustomed to iOS. Haven't looked back.

The thing is iPhone doesn't have hardware nor software support for being USB host. As a big hardware manufacturer, Apple is not willing to use others hardware. Only hope is having Wifi/Bluetoth accessories from ESC vendors.
Gecky Android on the other hand is happy to accept all the stuff like USB sticks, keyboards, missile launchers... :) |
You need to contact Castle Creations via RC-Monster. Here is the link. The owner wants to talk to you!!
