Hey guys.. Back in the hobby and just finished up my T5M build.
I decided to go with a Orion 450mah, 100c.. I believe it is the same one used by cavaliere.
Anyways had a charging questions.
I should be charging this on the balanced mode at 4.5amps correct?
I have the reedy 1216. -- how about short term storage?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome Back !!! so these are ?s based upon Opinion as what you stated doing is just fine. And the 4.5 amp 4500 mah rule is one that many follow. a balanced cell is a happy cell, but many believe they will stay balanced after a fresh balance for quite some time, as far as storage its a matter of opinion as well as some chargers have a storage mode, and some people dont drain them or use all there power then just unplug them and let them sit with no issue, some will let them sit around on a full charge, the only thing I can tell you as a fact is, if they get below a certain threshold some times they can never be brought back, letting it sit full they say is not good but its better than letting it get two low, I've let them sit around half full and full and never had an issue, cell degradation is a very technical subject. as long as you never let it get two low you will be fine they can hold there juice for quite sometime just look at all the ones that sit in the store on a shelf, don't stress your self to much do some research and pick a plan that works for you !!!

when I bought my 2 cell 7200mah 100c lipo the worker grabbed it off the shelf an checked it before he sold it to me it was @ 3.7 volts an 3.2 was the cut off point an they weren't the least bit concerned and im pretty sure it had been sitting there at least 2 months, as far as cavi I think its one he may have used, and as far as name brand they are worshiped thing is there are only several Lipo Batt manufactures in thee entire world, that video of there lipo manufacture on there website also manufactures the same batt for much less, that industry is more of a marketing branding thing. Sure some company's bring them there little tidbit's or ideas To make them to there standard or a little different, are they worth what they want for them ? some think so...

When storing them, either short or long term, it's best to store them at around 7.6V

And get a LiPo bag to charge and store the battery in.
