Just got the alert from Amain, 3PV is in stock. Anyone get to use one yet? I know it's a low end transmitter, but I believe it would be an improvement to the dx3c I've been using for years.

Any difference in the actual transmitter between the regular and telemetry models?

I have one. I got it from Banzai hobbies in Japan about a month ago. It's light. Pretty well balanced. It has a lot of functions I don't know how to use because the manual it came with was written in Japanese. I am sure if you get one from the US it will be in English.

I use the EPA 0-100-120%, and channel reverse and that's about it. It has ABS, and telemetry. You can do all the settings (about 6 more menus) that can modify all 4 channels independently. I did not get the telemetry receiver. So I don't know how that works. Mine came with a s3003 servo and a mc331cr brushed ESC. All for around 100$ US. The wheel is foam, grip is made of plastic. I can't say it's as solid as my old transmitter, but then again that was over 20 years ago, AM crystals and all 😂. It uses 4 AA batteries, which could also be switched out to use a rechargeable BEC flat pack. The screen is big. No back light though. The buttons and menus are easy to use. There is also these three micro switches around the wheel, I never use those. Basically, it has all the functions you'll need to run a surface RC at a very decent price.

I am pleased with it.

Im taking that this is going to replace the 3pl,,,fancier design and a few more tuning options. I still plan on getting one but..
futuba whats up with the backlit screen and no timer...screw telementry just my opinion

I bought one but wondering if anyone elses trigger clicks after going into full reverse? You can hear and feel the click in the lever.

Love the thing for its simplicity, has only the stuff i actually need.

I'm waiting to see one in person. If it's too light (ie Tactic) it's a no go.

Switching 8 or 9 cars over from Spectrum is a decent investment, smaller receivers with an internal antenna would be great.

Its pretty light.
lighter than a 3pl.
feels better in hand than sanwa mxv.

got it for my younger son to replace his 3pl.
needed expo to tune down the steering for him.

Super light. Not backlit. Reason... It's pretty cheap. Good value.

Flyskys have giant backlit screens..lesser quality of radio yes...but just curious how much more a backlit screen would add to the cost..,10$ 15$ more would have been worth it.Still going to grab one soon and shelf my 3 pl.

Throttle clicking fixed if anyone else has the issue. Just back this screw out slowly while making the click happen with the other hand. I didnt feel like paying return shipping to tower to swap it out for such a cheap radio.

Just got this for my 9yo son. I recently got the 4PX and he wanted something like mine. Now we are both on FHHS so we can share our cars. I had set him up with my old FM gear.

Yeah that RCJapan website is selling them now for $300 plus whatever shipping is. Im betting its 299 once its locally stocked.
