That's only the copy cat of the Orion from Kyosho systems, that developed the ESC inside de motor. It's new...but it's old news.

Orion, as i know was the first one! :D

Maybe for a car system the first but an on motor attached ESC is not new, in the world of RC airplanes there are many brushed sets with an integrated ESC.

Seems like that system wouldn't last long banging around in the back of an off-road Rc.. Especially for us cavemen who still run rear motors:D

Can,t see video but I will take your word for it.still a funny concept..I wouldn't mind trying one in something onroad paired with a wireless receiver.that would be one neat wiring job
