Default Help with ko propo servo/M12 sanwa not being smooth

I have a ko propo servo, the rsx2 power, for steering on my 1/8 nitro buggy and I have a problem with it not being smooth. I remarked this after my first race with it.
It is paired with a sanwa M12 transmitter and the 641 receiver with it (FH4T).
When operating it sort of makes crude "steps" between positions when going fairly slow. At full speed it's absolutely fine. I tried another receiver (the 471) and I have the same problem. I also tried several models on the transmitter in case there were a setting problem affecting this (speed,expo....). Tried all modulation and mode as well(nor, ssr shr...).
The weird thing is that when offpower the servo feels buttersmooth when I turn it by hand.
Here's a small clip I did :
+ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpI_l9PcaBw" title="View this video at YouTube in a new window or tab" target="_blank">YouTube Video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpI_l9PcaBw"> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpI_l9PcaBw" /> ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

You can definitely hear the servo making steps. It's much worse when you put a wheel on and see it jumps from position to position...
The ko propo rsx2 response I have on the throttle seems to have the same issue although having a smaller movement/lever and more speed it is not so obvious to spot.

I wasn't sure where to ask this as I'm still not sure if it's a servo or transmitter issue...

thank in advance

Edit: I found this topic :
where they talk about the exact same issue and it appears to be normal but if anyone has any more info it would be very helpful as to why it does that.

Totally normal. You'll never notice on track. I thought it was weird too.
