Been using Novak products since what (I believe) was their second generation ESC's: T4, T1 and the indomitable T1X ELIMINATOR! These along with chargers, power supplies, receivers, synth modules, external ESC programmers, 'stutter stoppers', motors and a plethora of other Novak accessories in my 30+ years in the hobby. So many wonderful memories Novak products have been a part of - Thank you!

I remember the Novak ads in RC Action back when I first got into the hobby. I only ran nitro at the time but considered them the premium brand in the electric side of RC. I ran their FM XXL receivers in many of my cars with my Airtronics radio.

I also remember seeing the ads for their first brushless system and thinking there is no way that catches on...

Thank you Novak.....I tried to buy their stuff over the past 10 years but they could not keep up so I moved on....apparently so did everyone else. they had some great innovations but still bulky for me(on road) looked good for off-road
Lots of fond memories here novak hammer esc 410 and the GTX ...tempest...will be missed
my gtx was soooo great in f1 and my tempest in touring ....good memories
battles with Tekin always ran the orange back then....

Ran the Impact ESC with no issues. (still keep it as a back-up) Ran the Vulcan 17.5 (BRL handout motor) last winter in Nastruck and was flawless. Ran 2 laps faster than the Thunderpower which hasn't improved since it came out. They had their issues just like anyone else. None out there are bullet proof from what I read. Maybe someone else will take over.

Does that mean there won't be anymore VTA since it is base on Novak 25.5 motors?

Sad news. I still remember their products from 15 years ago when I first got into this hobby. They were once a highly respected manufacturer with a strong team. I wonder what happened to them in recent years.

HK that's what happened. They are selling more lipos and other RC stuff like a mad hurricane on steroids... No one can compete with that verocity of Nature.
Traxxas is doing something about the "Turnigy" name...but that's about it...for what i know....

I still have some Novak stuff, and can't say anything but good words for their products!
Maybe the childreen (daugthers) don't care it anymore since the father needs to retire...and they have other jobs...
(Novak is a family based company...) mostly the good stuff is family based...

The Rooster and Super Rooster were my go-to brushed ESC's back in the day. They could handle any motor combo(i ran a 9x2 mod) and up to like 12 cells. Monster power in a TA02 back then.

Sorry to see them go and hope all the best for the Novak family.

First OFNA and now this.

Us "old school" guys hate to see the industry change. We truly lost a great brand.

As a team driver I had much more interaction with Charlie and staff than the average person. I can tell you now that this hurts, both myself, and the staff that works there. Of course they are upset that they are out of a job, but more importantly they are extremely sad that this chapter of their lives is ending. Novak was a family. It was an honor to represent them and I wish them all the best of luck.
