Tactic TTX300 receiver died?
The provided receiver that came with my TTX300 took a dump today when I was test driving the car. I read on the Tactic site that they come with a "failsafe", but what this failsafe entails I have no clue. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here. Some random info:
When I plug my ESC and steering servo into my second TR325, they work just fine. I tried holding the link button, but no luck, unless I'm missing something with the link procedure. Finally, this happened shortly after I installed my new Tactic BB High Torque Metal Gear servo, although not sure if that even has anything to do with this. |
Fail safe is for when the vehicle loses signal from the radio. If set up, it will set the servos or throttle to a predetermined position to stop/slow the vehicle so as it won't runaway out of control. Not too sure why your reciever stopped working though.

I had 2 of the TTX300 system receivers die immediately. Same flashing red light you describe. It happened when I plugged them into a Tamiya ESC (TEU-105BK). The receiver must be sensitive to voltage or a signal. I was not able to recover them and sent them back to Tower. I e-mailed them and let them know. Not sure they care. I sent it all back and just ordered an Airtronics MX-V for my boy. Worked like a charm on the same ESC. Good luck.
