Battery choice?
 

G'day all,

For years I've been using Team Orion 5100mah 7.2 NiMH cells in all my old 580XX Tamiya cars. However recently I've experienced some of them pack it in on me; ergo I'm on the lookout for some new ones. Research hitherto has revealed the two that most people seem to recommend are LRP and Venom.

Are these batteries the best? Or is there another brand I should be looking at perchance? Ideally I'd like it hover around the 5000mah region.

I like the Fantom batteries.

Do they make 7.2v NiMH? I always thought Fantom only made LiPo batteries?

You're right, they only make Lipos.
