has anyone used or does anyone have advice on this charger Dynamite Prophet Sport Duo 50Wx2 AC Battery for a new comer to the hobby thanks

I have that charger and run it all the time on my work bench. It's been flawless, easy to use. The only thing, if it bothers you, is that it does not have storage mode for your Lipo.

But for storage you can drive your car until voltage drops to about 3.8v-3.84v per cell and store it.

I use it to charge my NiMH and Lipo's. Does not have a charge mode for NiCd. Unlike my other Dynamite charger the fan turns on and off automatically so it's not too loud all the time.

No problem! It's a great charger. I'm kind of old school from the analog era, so the simple LED readout is real nice.

Check out the Hitec X2 AC plus same price point but much better charger IMO with alot more features.. You can get one from Towerhobbies for about 85$ shiped with coupon code... I have used the older version of the sport duo and was not impressed by it...

From what I read the Hitec puts out 100 watts from ac and 200 watts from dc.
