Steering sucks unless going in reverse.....

Issue is driving me crazy. New remote, was using a dx2e; upgraded to a dx4s. Also upgraded my esc from a Mamba Monster 2 to a Mamba XL2. Ever since upgrading I haven't been able to steer for crap (maaaaaybe 30%) when going forward. I was using a sr310 receiver before but wanted to try out the sr4210 because it has extra channels for headlights/esc fan. The servo is a high end Turnigy HV-767 servo that was also working awesome before upgrading my stuff. I initially had the BEC set at whatever default is (5.5ish I think) and eventually put it up to 6.5. Using a battery that I KNOW works (4500mah 65c 4s).

I've tried travel, expo, steering rate adjustments. The BEC is currently set at 6.5v Tried a different battery, different transmitter (I still have the dx2e and another dx4c) and they all do the same thing.

Odd thing is this. When I reverse throttle and drive the servo works perfectly, no problems.

Only thing I haven't tried is swapping motor wires......guess that's next. Any ideas guys?
