That is not the intent at this time. There is no camera in the radio.

No doubt, I'm king of the world! I was set on a new m12s, but now not so sure. Thoughts, comments?

I think it will certainly change a lot of peoples worlds...or at least that is the game plan.

There will be a couple of "other" apps loaded on the radio from the factory for sure

Am I going to be able to hook my earbuds into it and rock out to some Pantera? Bluetooth?? Seriously though being Android based should open up a TON of options that will only get better as time goes. If done right this thing could be a game changer for sure as said above, I'm on a 4px now but I might give this a go when it comes out.

I'm stuck trying to work out a car that could make use of 6 channels - maybe 4 for a crawler, what am I missing?

I think the telemetry. It uses extra channels.

Crawlers or something like a Traxxas Summit, not really something most people will need but good to have if you're into that kinda thing.

I think AVC also can use a channel or two, not sure about that though.

I was too, lol. It is the research and contacts I made in the scaler market that made us shoot for 6 channels. They have lights, winches, sometimes front and rear, beds on trucks that move if they want, things like that. Plus channels will be needed should people use say a gimble mounted camera for fpv needs. Things like that.

This would be an opportune moment to ask about the Orange RX DSM2 receiver compatibility...?

Well... radio range problems are solved on this? Or is the same mambo jumbo of always with spektrum?

Doesn't mean anything if they still are "rookies" in the range department....with the look of a PC...but the signal of a "ape" screamin a iam bada$$...what? Signal loss...range problems = Spektrum.

Really hope i am mistaken on this one....
Yah, go wi-fi, go bluetooth, go organic led display, go telemetry, go skyrocket... but fails at 100meter range point and glitch's sometimes to often? No thanks... a cheap Kyosho radio poor man's radio is more eficient... in my eyes!
Make radios with a real world range beyond 300meters... we are in 2016...and most RC people are not into racing on tracks were 80meter range is enough... cause track's aren't longer...

I have 2 spketrum radios...i know what i am saying...!! and internet is a wonderfull thing... cause i saw i was not the only one...with an "ape" :P

And talking about Oranges, is moslty like "traxxas" on "turnigy"... watch out... "ban" friend...

Not everyone has your issues. Ryan stated he is aware of the issue some are having and is working to address the issue but with an all DSMR system you should be able to dive beyond visual range.
